Emma’s Pizza is a very popular pizza shop located in Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts that was in critical need of an update to its web site and overall online presence.
In this project, I worked with a graphic artist to re-design the look of the web site. I then took the design and sliced it into a WordPress theme using XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. The site also gives the administrator the capability to modify the home page to display his daily specials. The scrolling area on the home page is javascript/ CSS based and is cross-browser compatible.
After launching this site, the client saw a 100%+ overall increase in web-traffic (based on previous years web metrics).
Emma’s Pizza also owns the #1 organic search engine result in Google Local Businesses for keyword “pizza cambridge” and “cambridge pizza”.
