Note to all users of this control, on Nov 2, 2011, weather.com began charging for subscriptions to their API (http://portal.theweatherchannel.com/explore.aspx). You will now receive the "## Invalid License Key ##" error. If you would like to continue using the control you will need to pay for the subscription from weather.com. I am working on a jQuery based replacement now that consumes and caches the free feed provided by weatherbug.com. Stay tuned!

Great work Leon and thanks for the control.
However, when trying to show Celsius instead of Fahreneit you have to add a Try Catch of InvalidCastException in case your value from server is "N/A" in displayTemp function or else it throws it!

@leon, It is working now. There is something I want you to do for me. I need your assistance on how the value of a textbox is translated into the locationId value in the html code after submit button is pushed in other to get the weather condition of the location typed. Assist me on this. Thanks for your support!

Thank u @leon, I will do exactly that. What is the effect of mce_src underlined. The error message is "Attribute 'mce_src' is not a valid attribute of element 'Register' "

@stanley: I believe you can put any website address there and the control should work at any url, even localhost. In other words, there is no connection with your key and a specific url.

@leon, thank u for your response to my post. I've the conviction that it will work. I've registered with weather.com now I have my license key and the rest, but where I was expected to give the website url that will use the weather information, how do I put my localhost address? Is it like http://localhost/default.aspx? Or how else.

@Stanley: This code will work just fine from your localhost as long as your computer is connected to the internet. Just follow the instructions and it should work fine.

I want to use this code for a school project, in such a way that when running on my localhost the project should be able to get weather information from the internet without hosting my site online. How do I go about it.
